PRIVACY POLICY

NexusCheatRadar ("we", "us", "the service") is an anti-cheat tracking platform for Rust game servers. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

1. DATA WE COLLECT

Public player data
Steam IDs, display names, violation records, ban history, and risk scores submitted by servers running the NexusCheatRadar plugin. This data is contributed by server administrators and may be visible to other users of the platform.

Account data (RCON Pro subscribers)
Email address, display name, and authentication credentials stored securely on our platform. If you sign in through Steam, your Steam ID is linked to your account.

Payment data
Stripe processes all payments. We never see or store your card number. We receive a Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and billing email.

Server data
Server connection details (IP address, RCON port, display name) you add to RCON Pro are stored and associated with your account.

Usage data
Standard web request logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) retained by our hosting infrastructure for security and performance purposes.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Operate the anti-cheat network and public player lookup
Provide and manage your RCON Pro subscription
Authenticate your account (email/password or Steam OpenID)
Process subscription payments through Stripe
Display aggregated violation and ban data to other server administrators

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Database & authentication provider — account data and player records are stored on a managed cloud database. Data is not shared with third parties beyond what is described in this policy.
Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Steam / Valve — optional sign-in via Steam OpenID. We receive your Steam ID and public profile data. Subject to Steam's Privacy Policy.
Hosting & edge network — the site is served via a CDN and edge hosting provider for performance and availability.
Steam Web API — used to look up public player profile information (VAC bans, game bans, account age).

4. PUBLIC VIOLATION DATA

Violation records submitted to the network are tied to Steam IDs and are visible to other server administrators using the platform. This is the core function of the service — server owners opting in to share detections to help the community identify repeat offenders.

If you are a player who believes a record is incorrect, you can contact us to request a review. We do not guarantee removal of accurate records.

5. DATA RETENTION

Account data is retained for as long as your account exists. If you cancel your subscription, your account and server data remain stored. To request deletion of your account, contact us directly.

Public violation and ban records exist independently of RCON Pro accounts and are retained as part of the network database.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

You may request a copy of data we hold about your account, or request deletion of your account and associated data, by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

7. COOKIES

The RCON Pro app stores your authentication session in browser localStorage. No third-party tracking cookies are used on this site.

8. CHILDREN

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

9. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
